Our Beliefs

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God.

Jesus is the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.

The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved.
As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.
Jesus declared in Matthew Chapter 21 verse 22, “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Our Purpose:

At Solomon’s Porch, God’s House of Prayer and Healing, we exalt the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in whom we live and move and have our being. We worship God Almighty and love Him with all our hearts because He first loved us. Every day He makes His presence known through the presence of His faithful Holy Spirit Who lives in us.

We cannot thank God enough for His constant provision, protection, and revelation to help us in our everyday lives to be His children. His Holy Spirit in us helps us to walk in the love of Christ for His people, the church and for all the world around us.
As we approach our heavenly Father, knowing the hope we have in Him through Jesus Christ, we are able to rely solely on Him for our every need. We love to study His word and we fully believe that every word is true.

We use His word in prayer by the power of the Holy Spirit to pray for ourselves, His church and for the whole world. As we humble ourselves before Him in prayer, He brings wisdom and revelation concerning His kingdom and what He desires to have fulfilled. As we believe with the help of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, we are able pray His will back to Him, knowing joyfully that He receives our prayer.

Each person in the body of Christ is created with their own unique calling or purpose- what God wants to use them for on this earth. When we seek Him with all our hearts, He gives revelation about the purpose of each child of God– there are many members of His body with different gifts and purposes, all of one spiritual body. At Solomon’s Porch, we strive to help each person find their own unique calling. Each person needs the revelation, wisdom and prayer support to be able to fulfill their calling. That is the primary purpose of Solomon’s Porch.

We make use of the abundant power and authority given to each believer that was provided for us by Jesus Christ on the cross. He said He would be exalted to the right hand of the Father and to make use of His powerful name and powerful blood to defeat the works of the enemy (John 14:12-14).

Our Father in heaven reveals divine blessings that he wants us to receive and by faith we receive them. We endeavor to fulfill the divine direction He shows as we come before Him in humility, knowing it is only by the grace and mercy of our Father God that we live and move and have our being.

Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians is our urgent prayer for ourselves and for all of God’s people:
15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power Ephesians 1:15-19

We exalt and trust in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ: For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Ephesians 2:18
