Prayer to our Almighty God in the Park

We were blessed by the Lord with a beautiful day of walking in the park and

helped by the Holy Spirit to offer a powerful prayer with the Word of God.

Praising the Lord for Who He is and that we should put our trust in Him alone-

Psalms 146:1-10

1 Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord, O my soul!

2 While I live I will praise the Lord;

I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

3 Do not put your trust in princes,

Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

4 His spirit departs, he returns to his earth;

In that very day his plans perish.

5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help,

Whose hope is in the Lord his God,

6 Who made heaven and earth,

The sea, and all that is in them;

Who keeps truth forever,

7 Who executes justice for the oppressed,

Who gives food to the hungry.

The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.

8 The Lord opens the  eyes  of the blind;

The Lord raises those who are bowed down;

The Lord loves the righteous.

9 The Lord watches over the strangers;

He relieves the fatherless and widow;

But the way of the wicked He turns upside down.

10 The Lord shall reign forever— Your God, O Zion, to all generations.

Praise the Lord!

Praying for the United States, the church, our families and the world.

I Timothy 2:1-6 NKJV

1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions,

and giving of thanks be made for all men,

2  for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet

and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

4. who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

5  For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

6  who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time

Let Us be Diligent in Believing Prayer!

I Corinthians 9:23-27 NKJV

23  Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you. 

24  Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.

25  And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for  an imperishable crown. 

26  Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one  who beats the air.

27  But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Pray to the Lord, asking Him to empower leaders with His wisdom and also to fill you and your family with heavenly wisdom so that you can be among those who give righteous counsel.

Proverbs 11:11, 14 NKJV

11 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted,

But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

14  Where there is no counsel, the people fall;

But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
